Your Opportunity
As a ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow SPM module. You will work closely with the stakeholders of the SPM solution to analyze business requirements, ensure the platform meets business needs, and supports the strategic objectives of the SPM solution.
Your Key Responsibilities
Technical
Analyze and resolve SPM issues by coordinating with appropriate IT teams and SPM stakeholders, if necessary.
Escalate problems to the appropriate areas of expertise within Stantec or to the vendor when necessary.
Acquire and maintain current knowledge of SPM functionality to provide accurate and relevant solutions to SPM stakeholders.
Administration
Maintain configuration and process documentation.
Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into design specifications.
Conduct unit testing on configuration changes.
Work closely with the Stantec ServiceNow platform team to improve the quality of service and resolve issues.
Communications
Serve as the first point of contact for end-users through the IT Service Center.
Coordinate with senior IT and business stakeholders.
Advocate for and enforce Stantec IT practices and standards as they apply to SPM.
Project Management
Create regular status reports regarding the current state of SPM operations.
Collect enhancement requests and coordinate their implementation.
Assist with platform upgrades (conducted by the Stantec ServiceNow platform team).
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Project Management or Project Administration related experience.
Experience designing, documenting, and rolling out workflows.
Experience designing and implementing dashboards and reports.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with SPM, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or Application Portfolio Management (APM) tools is a plus.
ServiceNow certification and/or Service Now administrator experience is a plus.
Education and Experience
Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
Related education will be an asset

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
