Your Contribution
As a Team Lead, Electrical you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Team
Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership, direction and support for members of the team
- Enhance, develop and mobilize the team of Engineers and Technologists
- Senior Electrical Designer responsible for preparing, reviewing and overseeing electrical designs
- Project management of design projects
- Preparation of proposals
- Determine areas of potential improvement and direct the implementation of change to address these areas
- Work with discipline leads and project managers to ensure projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Lead team recruitment with HR representatives; resume review, interviews and offers
- Help manage the training plans and career development of employees
- Execute the Englobe performance management program and oversee any required disciplinary review
- Build and/or support client relationships at the appropriate level
- Chair regular communication and meetings for the team
- Participate in regional strategic planning meetings including preparing operating budgets for your group.
- Implement up-to-date business processes.
- Work with the Director of Operations to implement and execute strategies for the business unit.
Your Profile
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the consulting industry
- A minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, communications, etc.)
- Experience preparing drawings, NMS specifications and cost estimates
- Experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, AGI32, SKM and other design tools.
- Experience in managing projects and/or teams;
- Experience and personal skills to mentor junior staff;
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or College Diploma in a relevant field
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain security clearance required
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
