We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Parts Shipper and Receiver to join our dynamic team at Bruce Hyundai in New Minas.

Job Description:

As a Parts Shipper and Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of parts and materials within our dealership. Your primary responsibilities will include shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload and unpack incoming materials and parts.
• Verify packing lists and ensure all items are received in good condition.
• Organize and store received parts in designated locations.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.
• Create shipping labels and documentation.
• Coordinate with drivers for pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an Automotive Parts person or in a similar role within the automotive industry is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, components, and accessories across various vehicle makes and models.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers and technicians.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management and sales transactions.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
• You must have a valid driver's licence and acceptable driving record.
