What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in the cost-effective, proper, and timely production of legal survey drawings that include legal survey, topographic, engineering, and construction layout plans
- Assist in transforming preliminary concepts and sketches into subdivision, strata, right of way and other legal survey plans using primarily Civil 3D, as well as other technical software as needed
- Coordinate project drawings and design models with project managers, land surveyors, and CAD staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) verification on drawings/designs
- Perform other related duties as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong desire to learn and grow with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to showcase resourcefulness, ask questions, and build effective working relationships.
- Certificate or Diploma in CAD and/or Geomatics and/or from an accredited institution is an asset
- Ability to register as an A.Sc.T. or other technical accreditations is an asset
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of Civil 3D is an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
