JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all operational staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. This role involves coordination with the General Manager, oversight of daily activities, and the ability to step into operational roles when needed. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

DUTIES

  • Manage and supervise all operations staff, ensuring daily duties are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure daily Field-Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA) are completed.
  • Assist with organizing safety meetings and conduct toolbox and safety talks as needed.
  • Support incident investigations, safety infractions, and reporting of near-miss incidents.
  • Conduct site visits to address waste, septic, and recycling inquiries.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates on special projects and staff availability.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and skill development within the crew.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Have a Class 3 drivers license with Air Break Endorsement and Heavy Equipment Ticket / Certification
  • 3 plus years of driving experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory Role
  • Ability to provide a Drivers Abstract
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel)
  • WSCC Supervisor Training Certificate or willing to obtain
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Good Physical condition and able to lift and handle vacuum truck hoses
