Starting Hourly Rate: 19.00 per hour with a $3/hour bonus paid at completion of the 6 weeks

Job Summary

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for inspecting and assessing damaged or worn tires on vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires.

As a Tire Technician, you will:

  • Repair, balance, remove and install tires
  • Shunt vehicles from plants to workshops
  • Process inventory and label tires into storage trailers
  • Filling out required paperwork for vehicle documentation
  • Comply with all safety procedures by taking an active approach to accident prevention
  • Assist mechanics with other workshop duties as needed
  • May need to complete other duties as required and assigned by management

About you:

  • Highly motivated and able to work well independently
  • Physically able to carry out the duties of the position such as lifting tires and continuous movement throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management & customer service skills
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
  • Professionalism to emphasize the customers "Respect for the individual"
