The OT Specialist will be directly reporting to the Electrical Supervisor in Plant 2. Direction will given by New Annan OT Lead by making work orders in JD Edwards for any required work with estimations. The Industrial Electrician (OT Specialist) will provide daily support to the Operational Process Networks and Systems for Cavendish Farms as assigned by Electrical Supervisor. As part of an existing role within Electrical Department, the position is responsible for ensuring the operational networks and systems are up to date, Cyber safe, stable, and compliant and these checks are retrieved from the E1 system. The Industrial Electrician (OT Specialist) will be a self- starter with a "Can Do" attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic, 24/7 work environment.

  • Hourly Wage: $26.08 - $38.23/hr

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Onsite liaison with JDI IT for any OT cyber events
  • Onsite liaison with Rockwell for any Rockwell events
  • Ensure Sentinal1 console Anti-Virus is up to date and actioned.
  • Support Vulnerability Management console to ensure risks are acted upon.
  • Under guidance from OT Lead, perform annual vulnerability assessments and resulting remediation.
  • Adhere to OT policies created for the operation.
  • Provide support for new product and technology introductions to the plant as well as for upgrades of OT Systems
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing OT controls.
  • Attend training for new equipment, Trouble Shooting, Replacement of OT equipment.
  • Lead/Assist with Root Cause Analysis's related to failures as required.
  • Have ability to restore from backup or perform backup when necessary. (Servers, sorters, ADR, ETC)
  • Provide education to on floor staff on cybersecurity.
  • Enable or troubleshoot on floor user access.
  • Train and assist electrician on configuring and changing switches.
  • Lead/Assist Electricians to Maintain PLC Revisions to the latest firmware.
  • Lead/Assist Electricians to Ensure Factory talk redundancy is active and in good order.
  • Promote preventive and predictive maintenance program for PLC and Switches.
  • Responsible to keep documentation up to date and located on back up drive.
  • Create PMs on CMMS for Network performance and monitoring to achieve a successful program to ensure optimum performance.
  • Programming and Instrumentation when assigned.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
