Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are looking for Equipment Operators at our Walker Compost & Packaging Facility in Arthur, ON. Equipment Operators will run a variety of heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, bulldozers, portable grinders, and screening equipment. Rotating through a variety of machines and duties means there's lots to do and learn while working in a fast paced environment. The best equipment operators are smart, keep themselves organized, respect the equipment while taking special care to do a good job. They are good teammates and don't mind getting a bit dirty on an outdoor job. Ideally, you have training or experience running heavy equipment.
We are currently recruiting for the afternoon and weekend shifts. The starting wage for the position is $24.87/hour, graduating to $29.20/hour over the course of time, with hourly shift premiums for working the afternoon or weekend shifts.
Afternoons - Monday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Weekends - Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
