Role Summary

The Implementation Lead, Workforce Management will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the time & attendance module in Dayforce for Canada and US Divisions. The Lead will establish themselves as subject matter expert in Magna’s time and attendance policies such as Overtime, Holiday, Shift Premiums, Leaves of Absence etc. and act as the primary liaison between Magna and the System Implementor (SI). They will recognize opportunities for, and facilitate, streamlining of time/attendance policies as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation/Design
– Drive workbook completion and interpretation of:
• Time Evaluation – Pay Polices
• Time Off and Entitlements
• Attendance
• Mass Assignment Workbooks
• Labour Metrics
• Vacation Bidding
– Lead Divisional Playbacks of Configuration in advance of User Acceptance testing to facilitate Design and Build sign off
– Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance
– Oversee the integration of Dayforce WFM with other modules (e.g., Payroll, HR) and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
– Oversee the roll out of Dayforce clocks
• Rollout strategy and timeline
• Maintain clock order
• Configuration of clock and harmonization of features
• Hardware installation with IT, Facilities
• Oversee of badging activities
– Own Dayforce Security Roles for HR, Managers/Supervisors/ Employees
• Define security role parameters, ensure responsibilities are clearly defined and documented
• Maintain roles across environments by auditing role features and user assignment regularly
– Own project instance access
– Own Workforce Management Risks and Mitigations and drive resolution

Testing
– Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the Dayforce WFM system meets all functional and performance requirements.
– Provide UAT testing support for testers on how to use the system in collaboration with SI
– Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies found during testing, working closely with SI

Training Development and Documentation
– Review training materials for time & attendance modules for users
– Support Training Lead where necessary

Go Live and Post Go Live Support
– Go Live Management: Collaborate and execute on go-live/cut-over plan including system cut over, user support, and contingency measures
– Post Go Live Support: Provide ongoing support during the initial post-implementation period to address any issues and ensure smooth operation.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading Dayforce WFM implementations, including system configuration, integration, and user training.
• Strong understanding of workforce management processes, labor regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-site projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Dayforce WFM, including system configuration and customization.
• Strong project management skills, with experience using tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
