Position Summary: The snow groomer operator is responsible for operating groomer equipment and using techniques to maintain the snow/hill conditions to the highest of standards for our guests.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating the groomer to push snow and till the hills for the next day's operation.
  • Inspecting the equipment regularly at the start of each shift.
  • Fix fallen over fencing or padding on the hill as needed.
  • Working with the snowmaking team to make sure snow is being made correctly.
  • Working efficiently to ensure that grooming is being completed by 8:00 am each morning.
  • Reporting any equipment issues to the onsite mechanic.
  • Reporting any ski condition issues to appropriate leadership and Ski Patrol.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience in operating equipment and snow grooming.
  • Must have valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold conditions.
