We're looking for full-time Electro-Mechanical Technicians @ Brampton operations site, could that be you?

Your future role

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll work closely with the maintenance and production team to assemble various components as well as perform all electrical and mechanical installations to complete the assembly of the train.

As this is an industrial work environment, physical demands are in consequence (continuous standing throughout the shift, lift up to 25 kilos, repetitive movements). Flexibility to work on different shifts will be needed to meet with operational requirements.

Then, while interacting daily with co-workers, quality inspectors, team leaders, supervisors, and managers, all activities will be performed according to EHSS procedures and rules in place.

You'll specifically take care of

· Respecting and enforcing Alstom EHSS policies and rules

· Installing and assembling railway vehicle (car body shell) components using standard work procedures, hand & power tools

· Performing basic testing and support troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and components

· Completing self-inspection on installations/repairs to ensure quality and compliance

We'll look to you for

· To be proficient at mechanical and electrical work such as gluing, fitting, crimping, soldering cabling, drilling as well as using test equipment such as multimeters

· To provide technical leadership and make recommendations on appropriate preventative and corrective actions

· To cross reference technical documents and highlight any discrepancies

· To work closely with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement
