Job Description

MISSION

Our mission is to provide seamless facilities support and service to our customer,the Retail Store Team. We endeavour to undertake all repairs, projects or rollouts expeditiously and efficiently while being mindful of budgets and cross-functional initiatives. Through this process, our main priority will always be to ensure optimal employee and customer experiences with minimal business impact. Retail is our core business; we approach every interaction with that in mind.

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Indigo Facilities Help Ticket SLAs and targets
  • Adherence to annual Repairs and Maintenance Budgets
  • Work order closeout and invoice reconciliation
  • Vendor KPIs and SLAs

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional

  • Coordinate the contracting and completing all repair and maintenance work in assigned stores or service concentrations.
  • Manage contractor and vendor performance according to Indigo's core expectations for service quality and vendor-specific KPIs
  • Ensure timely auditing and payment of all facilities-related invoices
  • Expenditure & budget management for assigned stores
  • Ensure vendor compliance with all provincial and federal health and safety legislation
  • Audit and create maintenance plans for all new and renovated stores
  • Coordinate with landlords for CAM-related or base building-related concerns
  • Perform On-Call hours rotational support within required SLA, including dispatching, work order issuance and follow-up
  • Partner with Health & Safety to ensure a safe environment for employees & customers
  • Explore and stay abreast of cost savings and energy savings initiatives for better overall efficiencies
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate store expectations and needs
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high-tech and high-touch solutions for Indigo's customers and employees
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them while maintaining best practices and efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with assigned Store Leadership Teams

Reports to: Senior Manager Facilities & Retail Services

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • Minimum five years of retail experience or supporting Retail
  • Sound knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management
  • Experience in expenditure & budget management
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Proven experience in vendor management
  • Expert in Excel, and MS Suite, and experienced in facilities ticket and invoicing software

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required during rotational on-call assignments
