The Details:

• Permanent, Full Time positions available for licensed plumbers

• Shift timing:
  • Monday to Friday: 10AM -6:30P

• Hourly Rate: $43.00/hour
• End times vary based on production, flexibility will be necessary
• We are a Pork processing facility

Job Tasks:

• Carry out oral or printed work requests and apply corrective actions
• Perform PM/PDM and regular work orders
• Perform the installation, maintenance, servicing, repairing and re-building of plumbing and pneumatic systems through the plant
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls on plumbing/pneumatic plant equipment
• Perform PM/PDM sequence of operations and methods to use when making repairs, replacements, plumbing alterations, and overhauls, following trade practice and manufacturer's specifications.
• Install plumbing/pneumatic systems throughout the plant
• Check and adjust (calibrate) the systems after installation and make necessary changes, adjustments and modifications to obtain desired results
• Using blueprints create sketches according to manufacturer's specification and manuals to obtain locations and details.
• Maintain repairs, troubleshoot and overhaul plant/plumbing systems, and replace, fit and install parts as necessary.
• Check for tests and leaks; set and adjust controls and regulator's and check operation after repairs.
• Operate and adjust systems for temperature, pressure and proper operations.
• Make operating adjustments as required
• Check and replace plumbing/pneumatic controls

Requirements:

• Must have a valid 306A Licence
• Industrial knowledge is an asset
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment, repetitive tasks, and ability to stand for extended hours
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must be able to communicate and understand English
• Must have their own tools
• Must have experience as a plumber
