Renovation Worker Trainee

Founded in Kingston in 1954, Homestead Land Holdings Limited has grown to become one of Canada's largest and most respected owners of multi-residential apartment buildings. The founding principles of the company are still in place today, which are to provide residents with affordable, secure housing with a standard of care in which we would treat our own family members.

We are seeking candidates who have some construction and minor maintenance experience or who are willing to be trained to learn new skills. Successful applicants will be trained and provided the tools to successfully increase their skills in:

• Laminate Flooring
• Carpentry: including baseboards, trim, doors, etc.
• Tiling
• Painting
• Other general renovation skills.

Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License and your own reliable vehicle (truck preferred, work related mileage compensated)

This is a full-time permanent opportunity (not seasonal) with excellent benefits, competitive salary and vacation. You must have some experience in renovations, or a willingness to learn.

A satisfactory reference check and criminal records clearance are required for the position.
