Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
Maintains logs and records; storing records for evidence purposes
Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on conditions of surveillance facilities and equipment
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma
Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
Minimum 3 years of work experience; experience in security or surveillance an asset
Responsible Liquor Service Certification ( e.g., Serving it Right Certification)
Computer proficiency
Keen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of time
Adherence to high standards, methods, and procedures
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required
