Join us as the Manager, Business Intelligence, where you'll lead cutting-edge data solutions to optimize operational reporting for our homebuilding businesses across Canada and the US. Leveraging tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure, you'll drive reporting efficiency, manage ETL processes, and oversee our Power BI Semantic Data Model. With a focus on data architecture and cloud services, you'll play a key role in shaping and implementing our data strategy to support all of our divisions. This role is located at our Willowdale Asset Management head office in Vaughan, ON.

What We Are Looking For

Your drive for excellence and entrepreneurial spirit will be cornerstones of your success. Here's Here is what else we'd love to see:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience

• At least 5 years experience in Data Engineering, with exposure to several integration & cloud technologies (SQL, Informatica, Azure, cloud.AI, etc.)

• At least 5 years of proven experience building data pipelines using MSFT Azure tools and services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob, Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Batch)

• Expertise with development tools as PowerApps, PowerBI Modeling and Reporting, Sharepoint SQL Methodologies

You'll Stand Out if You Bring:

• Experience in constructing enterprise architecture, implementing middleware technologies, developing workflows, and establishing reporting systems
• Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, DevOps, TFS, and/or CLM
• Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports and presentations

What You'll Be Doing Each Day

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions using SQL Server, Power BI semantic models, and Azure platforms for operational excellence.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for transformation and ingestion, ensuring data security and governance within Azure.
• Consult with stakeholders to gather business requirements, present findings, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Develop and manage project schedules, including resource estimation, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
• Document requirements, process flows, and scope while creating business cases to highlight financial benefits of projects.
• Foster team collaboration, promoting open dialogue, conflict resolution, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
