Job Description

We are looking for a Fire Protection Estimator to join our sprinkler sales team to maintain and develop its sales in the North American market. Building on mature product lines, new innovative products and recognized as industry leaders you will be mainly responsible to maintain and develop our network of contacts and decision makers in your territory.

Working out of our Toronto's office, you will mainly be responsible for estimating and selling contracts for sprinklers and special hazards fire protection systems :

  • Prepare quotations in accordance with established procedures, and present them to clients;
  • Ensure quotations' follow-up with clients;
  • Determine costs breakdown for all phases of the project, if necessary;
  • Prepare work estimates for new and renewal service contracts;
  • Elaborate a work calendar when applicable;
  • Evaluate service contracts for profitability;
  • Elaborate technical presentations concerning fire protection systems;
  • Participate in service sites meetings;
  • Participate in promotional activities (NFPA, NFSA, AFSA, ASPE, CASA) and special events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in standards and codes governing the conception and installation of automatic fire extinguishers systems
  • Knowledge of products used in fire protection
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Strong customer service skills
