We are looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic at our Walker - McGregor Quarry location. Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic

Ideally, you have these qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a licensed heavy-duty mechanic experience
  • Must hold a valid and up-to date 310S, 310T, 421A, or 425A.
  • CAT equipment is an asset.
  • Experienced truck and coach technician, certification an asset
  • DZ license is an asset.
  • Common core training is an asset
  • Experience working in a quarry environment is as asset

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Servicing heavy equipment on regular intervals including preventative maintenance.
  • Hydraulic work on Crushing plant and equipment
  • Can perform major mechanical repairs to the equipment.
  • Ordering parts and document in repairs as needed.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in a unionized environment
  • Have your own set of tools
