As a Mechanical Designer & Drafter, you will be an integral part of the project team, working closely with clients, engineers, and other designers to exceed client expectations.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to:

  • Designing and preparing 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Preparing plant layouts, general arrangement drawings, simple diagrams, dimensional calculations, and fabrication drawings for platework and mechanical equipment.
  • Producing preliminary plans for buildings, equipment, or sites from reference drawings or catalogues.
  • Participating in developing innovative solutions and performing other technical duties to support project execution.
  • Applying BBA or client standards when drafting layouts, sketches, schematics, or diagrams from detailed drawings.
  • Helping more experienced colleagues with more complex tasks and preparing site surveys when required.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Mechanical Design or relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of mechanical design experience in the industrial sector.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and NavisWorks.
  • Asset: Knowledge of CADWorx and SmartPlant 3D.
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French).
