Job duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Manage industrial quality activities in relevant workshops.
  • Lead development of Standard Work Instructions for new and existing maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and processes.
  • Ensure ISO 9001 adherence by developing new procedures/ work instructions, updating all documentation, conducting internal audits, conducting risk assessments, leading external audits, and driving continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • Build and maintain quality department KPIs to measure performance.
  • Participate and delegate customer joint inspections.
  • Conduct supplier visits and supplier facility assessments in cases of non-compliances. Ensure corrective and preventative measures are taken to eliminate the non-compliances.
  • Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with Return of Experience from previous projects.
  • Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of production (maintenance and repairs).
  • Support Maintenance Optimization efforts with the Customer by attending time studies and procedure review.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading APSYS (Alstom Performance System) implementation.
  • Establish equipment audit schedules and ensure they are performed by the quality team.
  • Supervise and manage the team of quality engineers and interns.
  • Design and conduct training Quality & Continuous Improvement training for new hires.
