We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the engineering consulting industry. In this role, you will report to a Senior Project Manager and be responsible for planning and overseeing the successful delivery of assigned projects in the Power and Utilities sector which includes various renewable and grid improvement projects. You will manage these projects within the defined scope, schedule, and budget while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Your strong communication, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and financial control skills will be essential in ensuring client satisfaction, team collaboration, and ultimately project success.

With Us You'll Get the Opportunity To:

  • Define project scope, deliverables, and requirements and oversee the end-to-end delivery
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource and budget management, cost estimates, and timelines
  • Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and draft project status reports
  • Respond to RFPs, lead proposals, and negotiate awards
  • Assist in preparing proposals and bids and liaise with consultants, contractors, and third parties
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across the country
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet client and company objectives
  • Manage expectations expressed by clients, project team members, and the organization

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional engineering or a technical project-related role
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related technical training and experience
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Experience in a consulting engineering environment is an asset
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering projects
  • Experience in change management
  • Previous experience in client and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
