Reporting to the Divisional Youth Secretary (DYS), the Divisional Camping Ministries Director (DCMD) provides leadership and oversight of the divisional camping ministries (including supervision of property management /maintenance, spiritual health of camping ministries, recruitment and supervision of camp staff, food services, hospitality services, guest services, program, and strategic operations). The DCMD is responsible for the safety and well-being of all campers, staff, and volunteers. The DCMD will, in collaboration with the DYS, ensure that all programs and services are delivered in accordance with The Salvation Army's mission, vision, and values.
Incumbent will perform all, some or similar range of duties as below for all Ontario Camping Ministries Properties (Jackson's Point - Blaze and Shoreline; Newport Adventure Camp):
