We are looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic at our Walker - Grey-Bruce location.

Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic

We're currently seeking a licensed Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic to work out of our Walker - Grey-Bruce location

Ideally, you have these qualifications:

  • Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • At least 5 years' experience as a heavy-duty mechanic
  • CAT equipment is an asset
  • Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere equipment are asset.
  • Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification as asset.
  • Experienced truck and coach technician, certification an asset
  • Common core training is an asset
  • Experience working in a quarry or construction environment is an asset

Practically speaking, you will:

  • Service heavy equipment on regular intervals including preventative maintenance
  • Perform major mechanical repairs to the equipment
  • Maintain the company's PM program and work order system

This is a full-time, permanent position, with a highly competitive total compensation package that includes an hourly wage range of $38.50 - $41.50 , full group benefits, a pension plan, and many other industry-leading Walker perks.
