We are looking for Mechanics - Truck & Coach at our Walker - Aggregates and Construction Division - Grey-Bruce location.

Mechanic - Truck & Coach

We are looking for experienced Truck and Coach Mechanics to learn and grow within our organization.

These positions would be working full time out of our Grey-Bruce Office in Kemble, Ontario. Walker offers a competitive wage of $37.50 - $40.50, full group benefits, a pension plan, and many other industry-leading Walker perks. There is potential for growth within the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Servicing heavy equipment on regular intervals, including preventative maintenance
  • Can perform major mechanical repairs to the equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining the company's preventative maintenance program and work order system in a timely manner
  • Additional training will be provided if necessary

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a heavy-duty or truck and coach mechanic is an asset
  • Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere equipment are assets
  • Experienced truck and coach technician, certification an asset
  • Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification as asset
  • Common core training is an asset but not required
  • Experience working in a quarry or construction environment is an asset
