Reactor Decommissioning (RD) is responsible for executing all activities associated with the Care and Maintenance, Environmental Remediation, and Decommissioning of the Douglas Point Waste Facility in Tiverton, Ontario. The DP Project Manager reports to the DP Decommissioning Manager, and is responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the decommissioning project work at Douglas Point required to complete the commitments made to the Customer in the overall 10-year plan, as well as supporting the development of the Annual Plan of Work and Budget (APWB) and delivering the commitments made therein. The DP Project Manager is accountable for the complete delivery of large-scale, high-risk projects of critical significance, characterized as multi-year duration involving a significant financial commitment (typically >$15M annually).

CNL’s Douglas Point Prototype Reactor (which has now entered the dismantling phase of decommissioning ETA 2070) is located on the Bruce Power site in Bruce County on the east shore of Lake Huron in the Province of Ontario, near the municipality of Kincardine, 2.5 hours north and west of Toronto.
