ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITY

Key accountabilities:

  • Perform production tasks as planned by the department including the assembly of train components onto the train car body (e.g. sidewall panel fastening and drilling)
  • Installation of internal components (sub-assembled) onto the train car body
  • Complies with EH&S rules and safe working procedure at all times
  • Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment
  • Set up production equipment: workstation, test benches, inspection tools, warehouse equipment
  • Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods process and MRP routing
  • Identify parts as required by the operating instructions prior to installations
  • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
  • Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse
  • Alert Team Leadership on process drift or quality problem
  • Complete tally sheet on the MRP tool if requested by the Team leader
  • Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers
  • Respect ESD rules for electronics devices production

The above list of duties is not exhaustive and will be adapted / adjusted according to the Regional Center needs

Performance measurements: (OTD, QCD, Sales, PMC, Orders, Gross margin, etc.)

  • Manufacturing efficiency: spent time vs methods time
  • Product quality target
  • Deliver production tasks on time
  • EHS rules respect

EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements: Describe the minimum educational requirement/level

Mandatory:

  • Experienced operator in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical setting. Industrial working environment experience

Experience: Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role

  • More than 2 years of experience in Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical or mechanical devices

Competencies & Skills

  • Manufacturing effectiveness
  • Quality focus - reporting in electronic system for status updates, defects, or scheduling updates
  • Collaboration / Communication with Transparency / Teamwork
  • Spoken and written English communication is required
