About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate is responsible for, but not limited to, performing all required assembly operations in the line rotation at line speed while producing good quality parts to meet/exceed all Qualtech Seating Systems' and Customer requirements.

This role will have a January 6, 2025 or January 13, 2025 start date.

Pay Rate: $19.83 per hour

Your Responsibilities

  • Performs all duties assigned relative to the assembly of seats and seat components within the cycle time allotted to each task.
  • Performs inspection and rework as required ensuring that all production meets Customer standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and following all safety rules at Qualtech Seating Systems.
  • Follows all Plant Standards, Company policies and procedures. Responsible to ensure they are aware of the correct and safe way to operate their equipment and complies with Company standards on the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Responsible for recognizing and rectifying unsafe working conditions and maintains excellent housekeeping (5S) at Qualtech Seating Systems.
  • Other projects & duties as assigned.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Minimum completion of Grade 12.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • An energetic and diligent work ethic.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
