JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, asset management and managing the supply chain to meet SE Health's IT needs. This role ensures that all hardware, peripherals and software, for companies under the Saint Elizabeth Health Care umbrella, are managed efficiently. The IT Procurement Specialist Analyst will work closely with the Procurement Manager and other departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Purchase Orders: Assist in creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy of information. Help track that goods and services purchased are deployed to the intended users.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in managing vendor relationships by maintaining communication, addressing issues, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Asset Management: Track inventory and movements of all known equipment. Ensuring compliance with IT procurement and organization policies. Maintain the asset database, monitor expiring software licenses, warranties and end-of-life equipment.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional IT teams, Finance, various department leads to ensure smooth procurement and deployment operations.
  • Support: Provide administrative and analytical support to senior procurement staff in vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and procurement projects. Collect and analyze data related to procurement activities, including vendor performance, cost, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
