Your Opportunity
Our GTA Based Transportation Business Line has a need for a Senior Transportation Consultant . As a Senior Transportation Consultant, you will be working closely with the team of Account Managers, Project Managers and Leadership in the Transportation Business Line to provide support and project sponsorship during the project life cycle.
Your Key Responsibilities
Engage with Business Center leadership, Account Managers and Project Managers to develop relationships and execute work.
Partner with Account Managers and collaborate with Marketing to identify and support key pursuits.
Act as project sponsor/principal.
Provide technical guidance for large projects of high complexity.
Engage with clients to understand upcoming business and teaming opportunities, monitor client satisfaction, and position Stantec for success.
Develops and maintains industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, sub-consultants, competitor/teaming partners, and potential recruits.
Represent Stantec with outreach efforts, including professional societies and other organizations.
Coach and support peers and emerging leaders to pre-position, develop leads and capture plan on key opportunities across multiple sectors.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Strong understanding of the Ontario market
Strong business development skills, including significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships.
Develops relationships with key teaming partners.
An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consulting-services provider
Strong leadership skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, and/or related field.
Minimum 15 years' experience with a minimum of 5 years of FHWA experience within multi-disciplinary environments and business operating unit markets.
Position will primarily work in an office setting. Stantec is utilizing a flexible workplace strategy were working from home on a part-time basis may be permitted.
