Here's your typical responsibilities:

  • Parts and Material Transportation:
    • Operate motor vehicles to transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage facilities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Material Handling and Equipment Use:
    • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment as needed.
    • Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Inventory and Documentation:
    • Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to traffic laws and workplace safety standards when operating vehicles or equipment.
    • Conduct pre-operational vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks.
    • Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required.
  • Support Production Goals:
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials.
    • Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts.

Here’s what you have:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
  • Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
  • Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

  • Entry- level basics and experience in the Automotive Industry
