This role will support the strategic and tactical fleet/automotive electrification deployment for The Company's ground fleet. They will work closely with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), Fleet Engineering, Regional Operations Teams, and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to implement/deploy Fleet electrical infrastructure in support of Purolator`s Electrification initiative. This Engineer will assess terminal route requirements and terminal electrical requirements to ensure the correct Electric Vehicle "Right Vehicle Right Route" fits the route cargo volume and weight to optimize cost per kilometer.
This role will support and be a key member of the Electrification team of the Purolator Fleet strategic and tactical electrification priorities such as:
Engineering degree preferably with mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics designation.
