What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Accountable for providing support to all Stores by dispatching service requests to the correct vendor, assisting to resolve issues with contract maintenance and working with vendor to ensure services are properly completed at the Stores; Assists with large repair projects and follow-up for monthly maintenance accruals and service analysis.
  • Assists with new vendor sourcing; conducts analysis of service data, such as volume or frequency of work and repair orders.
  • Promptly respond to Stores when a maintenance issue arises with any contract vendor (i.e. Cleaners, Waste Management, Pest Control etc.)
  • Coordinates in-store projects to ensure no interruptions to daily operations (i.e. large repair projects, fire protection testing, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing department's shared inbox, prioritize, troubleshoot and escalate urgent issues to ensure there is a 24 business hour response

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • 1 to 3 years of related Maintenance work experience, or equivalent education. Knowledge of maintenance procedures including door and fixture repair, painting, caulking, floor maintenance and ceiling tile replacement; safety precautions; electrical systems; Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) and hydro procedures.
  • Excellent administration skills including word processing, creating visual presentations, and data management using Microsoft Office Suite. Strong technical ability using Microsoft Excel to manage and filter large data sets.
  • Previous experience processing purchase orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management programs (EAM) is preferred.
  • Good problem solving, analytical and research skills; able to identify and resolve issues, gather data, compile information, and prepare relevant reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment as required; able to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs of the business, and changing priorities

Salary Range: $42,330 - $59,160* /Year

*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
