Profile:

As an intern, you will be tasked with improving the searchability, sorting and usability of the De Havilland customer portal (dehavillandportal.com). The objective will be to review and standardize the documentation and the back-end SharePoint. Development of processes and procedures to ensure the long term maintainability of site for Technical Support teams and customer portal user worldwide

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting thorough review of all documentation uploaded via SharePoint
  • The proposed position includes investigations of all docs uploaded and available in SharePoint including:
    • data review
    • documentation clean up
    • maintenance of site
    • preparation of reports and deliverables to support De Havilland engineering documentation in making key improvements to support our customers.
    • Development of written processes and procedures to ensure future maintainability of the portal.
    • Creation of user documentation for uploading documentation to the portal
  • Improve the document searchability, sorting and usability of the De Havilland customer portal dehavillandportal.com.
  • Reduce time required to upload documentation on the portal.
  • Reduce error when uploading documentation on the portal. You will be required to liaison with key internal De Havilland departments
  • You will also review and optimize In-Service Engineering and Technical Helpdesk Procedures to create seamless user interface.

Requirements:

Current Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Undergraduate with strong academic performance, active in university and/or community activities.

Skills:

  • Advance Excel & programming Skills
  • Organized
  • Easy to work with across functions, Quick learner, Problem Solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with focus on Quality outputs.
  • Strong presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills.
