You as a Proposal Manager, you will :

  • Be responsible for the production and submission of proposals, service plans and related manuals.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of proposal management for EllisDon Facilities Services proposal and pre-qualification submissions.
  • Create tailored bid responses with the support of subject matter expert team members.
  • Contribute to deliverables matrices and bid schedules to ensure that proposals are managed, reviewed, produced and delivered on time.
  • Participate in status and review meetings to ensure the pursuit team is informed on proposal requirements and schedule.
  • Maintain the library of corporate resumes, project profiles and presentations.
  • Manage document control and final production for proposal responses.
  • Proofread proposal content to ensure continuity, accuracy and compliance with legal, technical and marketing specifications. Copy-edit proposal content for format, grammar, style, punctuation, spelling and consistency.
  • Support businesses development initiatives (events, presentations, marketing materials and website updates) as required.
  • Create, prepare and archive correspondence, meeting minutes and other documentation.
  • Create spreadsheets to manage and organize data and/or deliverables.
  • Document control activities such as downloading proposal files from client portals, managing client portal passwords and overall maintenance of internal proposal and service plan file structure.
  • Assist in the development of operational plans (eg Health and Safety, Emergency Response, Human Resourcing etc)

Is this the right role for you?

  • 2-5 years of professional work experience developing and creating proposals or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • You have a Marketing or Communications Degree/Diploma, or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or construction experience.
  • You have a mindset that is flexible and amenable to changing priorities while managing concurrent projects within compressed time frames.
  • Proven experience managing multiple departments and enforcing deadlines in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
  • You have attention to accuracy and detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, meticulous work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint).
  • You have strong process skills involving the efficient scheduling, coordination and execution of complex projects under challenging timelines.
  • You have superior writing skills including copy writing, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading.
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively, communicating requirements for effective oversight of final product
  • Experience with Public-Private Partnership and/or operations and maintenance projects and contracts
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
