Tesla Motors is looking for an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. This position will service the ______ area; however, the role will require daily travel within the region directed by Mobile Tire Dispatch team. We are hiring for part-time and full-time positions.
- Performs apprentice level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
- Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Help maintain cleanliness of vehicles
- Daily regional travel
- Must maintain a valid Class 5, G or G2 driver's license for Canada and an acceptable and safe driving record
- Understanding and training on mounting and balancing tires and tire repair
- Must be willing to become DOT certified; trade school training/ ASE's a plus
- Bilingual, French and English (French as mother tongue or equivalent proficiency); use of English is required for communications with internal and external partners, understanding and analysis of documents, and use of multiple platforms, interfaces and software
- Experience operating a tow and trailer
- Must be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle
