Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Operations Clerk is accountable for a multitude of tasks. Operations Clerk is responsible for Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM) and is involved in different stages of asset management. Operations Clerk provide support to clients either via phone or email on 24/7 shift work bases. This includes but is not limited to safety, document control, and dispatching, scheduling and field communications.
$20.50/ hour , benefits and RRSPs all provided
1 month rotational shifts (days and overnights) - 12am-12pm, 12pm-12am. 4 Days on 3 Days off (weekends included). Overtime Available
Key Accountabilities:
• Accurately log work orders and other related forms into EAM
• Ability to multi-task/manage a varied workload & evolving tasks
• High level of problem-solving skills
• Ability to extrapolate information and procedures based on historical experience to apply to current situations
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues, tasks, and problems
• Assists in the development and implementation of procedures within broad policies of PNR and any customers we work with.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to build and improve processes for asset management and adjacent activities.
• Create and update knowledge articles for EAM processes and procedures.
• Errors in judgement by Operations Clerk could result in significant safety concerns, disruption to revenue operations and service resulting in loss of revenue to the customer and liquidated damages to PNR, non-fulfilment of contract budget commitments and other financial goals, damage to PNR's corporate image and credibility.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Education & Experience:
• Office Administration Certificate is an asset
• Minimum 1-3 years of customer service, administrative and/or similar experience
• Experience in a fast-paced call centre/office setting is an asset
• Must rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of PNR and customer department organizational structure, operations, policies and procedures applicable to the work performed.
• Must attend and successfully complete any trainings required to suit the positions requirements.
• Pre-employment background and reference checks will be required.
Talents & Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must possess a sound judgement with highly developed time management, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical/problem solving skills.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment and meet demanding timelines.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams and schematics is an asset.
• Must possess the ability to pay attention to detail at a high level.
• A demonstrated ability to motivate and influence a diverse group of internal and external contract stakeholders to achieve the goals of the contract would be an asset.
• Ability to assess and reorganize priorities to suit changing requirements.
• Familiarity with computers and computer-based techniques/applications related to the work are essential.
Working Conditions:
• Generally based in an office environment with possibility of remote work depending on business needs
• Work will take place outside of normal office hours; PNR runs a 24/7 operation
WIlling to work 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off days and nights (12 hour shifts)
