Mississauga's City Planning Strategies Division is looking for a Planning and Spatial Data Analyst to strengthen our growing data practice. We are seeking candidates who are curious and passionate about planning and data, can balance multiple priorities, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and apply analytical thinking and geospatial solutions to work through complex land use planning problems.
The successful candidate will help to analyze planning data; develop and maintain planning and demographic projections; develop population and employment forecasts; provide guidance on information planning analytics; support the creation of geographical information system (GIS) web applications; provide innovative solutions to problems; conduct land use planning research and quantitative and geospatial analysis; and, deliver Mississauga population, housing and employment requests for information. Work with clients to provide simplified solutions to issues encountered. Extensive computer and software use including databases, spreadsheets, data analytic, publishing, presentation, MS Office and GIS software is required.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 78,602 - $ 104,806
