What is the opportunity?
The Group Annuity team is looking for a new member to join our team to influence product strategy, contribute to high-impact projects and support insights into the business. This role will also play a crucial part in strengthening connections within data systems and support the vision of scaling the business. With these efforts, we will drive forward to support the strategic goal of maintaining our position as one of the top players in the Canadian group annuity market. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, solution-based, communicates well and thrives when working on a close-knit team. There is a strong likelihood of the position being converted to a permanent role.
What will you do?
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline our data processes and improve efficiency
•Develop innovative solutions to enhance how we handle large amounts of data and data capabilities
•Leverage existing tools to support business reporting and visualizations
•Create tools to support clear visualizations and insightful business analysis to identify trends
•Address and resolve data integrity issues to maintain high data quality
•Provide support to ensure proper administration of placed deals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
What will you need to succeed?
Must Have
•Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience
•Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
•Experience with Power Query, SQL, Tableau, VBA, Python and R
•Predictive analytics knowledge
•Solid technical and analytical skills with strong problem-solving ability
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Highly motivated self-starter and team player

•Curiosity in the AI space

Special Conditions
Please note this is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
