Job Title: R&D Glazing Specialist

Salary: $50,000-$60,000

A Day in the Life:
-Assist in the design, prototyping and testing of new curtain wall and facade systems and components.
-Conduct hands-on testing to evaluate the performance of façade systems.
-Collaborate with designers/drafting/engineering to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimize designs for manufacturing and installation efficiency.
-Provide hands on technical support as required with both current and previous Flynn jobs.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that new products and materials meet industry standards and client specifications.
What You Bring:
-Previous experience with curtain wall or façade systems.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
-Proficiency in mechanical tools and equipment.
-Problem solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
-Ability to travel within Canada and the US for up to a week at a time.
