Your Role
As the Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, you are responsible to manage all day-to-day activities for the transportation of goods, including Pharmaceutical products and dangerous goods, from port of destination to final consignee. Your responsibility is to communicate with Sea freight carriers, co-loaders, truckers, customs brokers and other vendors. You will provide solutions in case of any discrepancies, holds or delays in the movements of goods and will actively and concisely communicate with the Operational Customer Care team. Your role is focused on operational excellence supported with clear KPI's. Your goal is to deliver an extraordinary customer and ensure transparency and neutrality towards all Canadian branches. You will report to the Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible to ensure the smooth flow on the movement of shipments, resolving any discrepancies in the movement
Arrange for transport/shipping documentation and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of goods and monitoring movement of goods
Communicate and Coordinate with Sea freight carriers, co-loaders, truckers, customs brokers and other service providers
Responsible for data entry and ensuring data quality
Work closely with the internal OCC and notify in case of holds, discrepancies, delays and deviations in the movement of goods
Resolve problems and provide ongoing support
Executing the timely execution of daily tasks including, but not limited to processing delivery confirmation of cargo to OCC Customer Service Team.
Resolve Credit issues including holds, credit check rejections and disputes.
Communicating additional charges to for deliveries to customer service team for items such as: Prepull, Yard storage, storage charges, etc.

Your Skills and Experiences
High School Degree/Diploma in supply chain management or similar field
1+ years of Sea Logistics Exports and Freight Forwarding experience
Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)Administrative / data entry experience required
Certified in CIFFA, CITT or equivalent is preferred
