Position Summary...

​​The ​Sr Manager, Strategic Partnership -will be responsible for leading and monitoring all vendor partnerships within the department. They will responsible and accountable for establishing partnership strategies, as well as, coordinating the workstreams with all involved stakeholders. They may also be required to coordinate commercial aspects such as packaging, assortment, branding, claims specs. In collaboration with operational partners, ensure that we are delivering on Customer Experience and that programs are designed and executed effectively.

​Their priorities will be to manage relationships, develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with our business goals and measure performance & financial KPIs (as defined in the business).​

What you'll do...

1.​​​Acting as the main point of contact for the business, this role will be responsible for fostering and maintaining a strong relationship with existing key partners and establishing new relationships as needed.

​They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with cross-functional leaders and subject matter experts to ensure successful integration and delivery of all functional workstreams (Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Real Estate, Food Safety, Legal) as it relates to the strategic partnerships. ​

2.The Senior Manager will lead the strategic planning & execution of the commercial sourcing strategy. Responsible to identify, develop and implement partnership strategies that are aligned with our department goals & objectives. The Senior Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing new business/growth opportunities. They will identify growth opportunities through market research and internal collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Senior Manager will support in all long-range contracts with supplier partners.

​This role may be required to negotiate global vendor contracts to achieve best cost and value and to hold vendors accountable to their KPIs.

​Drives innovation in product assortment and accountable for developing a revised CVP and maintaining claims-based programs where applicable.​​

3.​​Monitor & drive accountability for the performance of suppliers against our KPI's. Ensure internal cross functional teams are providing appropriate forecast/commitments for our partners to deliver against.

Accountable for the performance of the program, including aspects of governance, reporting, risk mitigation and strategic communication. Accountable for the development and maintenance of applicable Project Plans and expected to raise critical issues to steering committee as required. ​

4.​Accountable for surety of supply across all relevant categories (including existing sourcing models as well as alternate supply sources where appropriate), achieving the optimal balance between COGS and quality/specifications

5.​​Create annual business plan, as well as 3-5-year plan ensuring that the initial business case is delivered, while planning appropriately for future development/expansion/growth.​
