You, as a Senior Project Manager, Insurance Assessment, will:

  • Deliver services in a role as a Building Consultant or Cost Consultant on large loss insurance claims and other construction-related projects
  • Provide excellent communication between our clients and project-related stakeholders
  • Assess restoration measures onsite, develop scope of repairs, monitor and report on site activity and prepare budgets and other estimating exercises as required
  • Develop a robust client pipeline and drive prospective business development initiatives to ensure continued growth and success of the Project Advisory & Management team
  • Review Building Code compliance issues and upgrade requirements with consultants and provide recommendations
  • Prepare and implement competitive tender packages for contractors and trades
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related activities for stakeholders as well as EllisDon management
  • Provide mentorship to other team members and delegate tasks as needed to ensure that deliverables are always met

Is this the right role for you?

  • 10+ years of experience in the restoration, insurance, or construction project management industry is a strongly preferred asset
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Construction, Project Management
  • CIP, PQS, CIQS, RICS, CIP, PMP, CRM designations and/or various IICRC certifications would be an asset
  • Must have working knowledge of Xactimate and Excel
  • Ability to delegate tasks to internal team members and ensure deliverables are always met
