As Total Rewards Manager you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the EllisDon Total Reward Program, in collaboration with leadership, assuring internal equity and external competitiveness throughout the employee experience
  • Lead the Annual Compensation and Shares program including program changes, and implementation
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Pay Equity program
  • Align Total Rewards programs with Inclusive Diversity vision and programs.
  • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and industry associations to ensure that EllisDon is positioned competitively and stays current on trends/changes with regards to compensation, benefits, and wellness programs
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of existing and newly administered compensation, benefits and wellness programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure that they are market competitive, cost effective, align with corporate goals and compliant with company policies, federal and provincial legislation and other government and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate, educate, and advise the People & Culture team, leaders, and employees on understanding the EllisDon Total Rewards Program including compensation, benefits, and wellness.

Is this the right role for you?

  • 3-5 years of prior experience within a Total Rewards function
  • You have a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including employees, leaders, and executives
  • Strong project management skills as well as the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Total Rewards including but not limited to compensation, benefits and wellness programs
  • Strong knowledge of federal and provincial legislation including but not limited to pay equity, leaves of absences, and compensation
  • Strong people leadership skills including with remote employees
  • You have experience conducting data analytics
  • You have advanced abilities in Excel including advanced formulas, vlookups, and data analysis
  • You have the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • You are passionate about what you do
