Do you take pride in providing internal departments and external guests and vendors with a level of service that anticipates their needs and exceeds their expectations? Do you have the ability to stock and retrieve materials from various locations while managing incoming and outgoing goods? If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you.

The job involves:

  • Receiving and delivering all incoming materials, inventory and non-inventory, verifying all goods and cross-referencing purchase orders to verify quantities and item descriptions
  • Selecting inventory items, verifying quantity levels and preparing for shipment to departments
  • Utilizing correct stock rotation procedures and maintaining general cleanliness of all work areas
  • Operating warehouse vehicles and equipment in a responsible and safe manner
  • Assisting departments with the physical movement of goods, equipment and furniture
  • Meeting specific timeline schedules for assignments, deliveries and the set-up and take down of equipment, furniture and event items
  • Standing and walking for prolonged periods, exposure to noise and lifting of not more than 60 lbs
  • Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 6 - 12 months experience in inventory control
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License DZ or G
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs and AS400
  • The ability to successfully pass a preplacement physical assessment
