Do you take pride in securing the assets of the company and ensuring the safety of our guests and associates? This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the Surveillance department by installing, repairing, and maintaining surveillance equipment. The job involves:

  • Maintaining recording devices, cameras, and camera enclosures while ensuring continuous coverage
  • Installing and maintenance of close circuit television (CCTV) systems consisting of: Surveillance Camera (Analog and IP), Monitors (analog and digital), Digital Network Video Recorders (NVR) systems (NVR systems include: Digital Encoders, Servers and RAIDS), Network backbone ('Edge' and 'Core' Gigabit switches), Fiber Optic systems, operator workstations (Alpha, VMS, eConnect, Synetics)
  • Providing high level 24 hour technical support by responding to inquiries by phone, email, or web in a manner and time frame consistent with departmental team service levels
  • Installing and configuring Surveillance requirements for Special Gaming Events such as: Poker, Blackjack, Slot, Mini and Full Baccarat Tournaments
  • repositioning camera equipment for improved coverage including routing cables to new locations and adjusting cameras for focus
  • Maintaining accurate database records, updating surveillance maps and spreadsheets to correlate with changes to existing systems
  • Ensuring Associates work in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation with availability to work all shifts

The ideal candidate has:

  • College diploma in electronics, computers or related field
  • Minimum 1 - 3 year's experience with large CCTV systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word , AutoCAD, Surveillance system programs)
