RVA is seeking an Analyst, Project Controls to join their Project Control team in Toronto office. This is a full-time permanent position.

Duties:

  • Support Project Managers in the management and delivery of projects
  • Track scope, budget, and schedule for projects
  • Assist with internal processes related to agreements with clients as well as subconsultants
  • Assist in Project Set-up, review in detail contract documents and agreements to be able to identify tasks/client requests that are within or out of scope.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, specifically the strategic financial and schedule components.
  • Assist with the management of subconsultants including but not limited to their proposals, agreements, invoices, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop, track, and monitor budgets as well as provide forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Support Project Managers with preparing and submitting monthly invoices, ensure invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Develop realistic baseline schedules and maintain these on a regular basis, providing justification where revisions are warranted.
  • Assist project managers with organizing/planning meetings, attend meetings and assist with the preparation and distribution of agendas and meeting summaries.
  • Assist project managers with the preparation and distribution of monthly progress reports.
  • Set up and maintain document management systems and project storage folders both internal to the team as well as those shared with clients.
  • Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position

Qualifications:

  • PMP certification would be an asset.
  • Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management, project coordination, and/or project controls of engineering projects preferably with water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Must possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development and other skills appropriate to consulting.
  • Proven, advanced level Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team environment.
