About the Job

We are looking for a crusher-plant operator to work at our Severn Quarry.

In this role, you'll operate heavy equipment such as plant loaders and trucks, and do regular and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Our best plant operators are easy to get along with, level headed, and mechanically inclined. They enjoy the work and the positive culture at Walker. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, morning and/or afternoon shifts, with occasional Saturdays. Total package includes starting hourly wage of $29.65, full group benefits, a pension plan, and many other industry-leading Walker perks.

Here's What You Need

• At least a year's experience as a plant operator
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience as a heavy equipment operator an asset
• Welder/welding experience is an asset
• Common core training is an asset
