About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a 5G Software Tester/Flow Integrator to become a part of our 5G verification team. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We are organized in cross test teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

What you will do:

  • Define, build, and integrate end-to-end (E2E) solutions within the wireless ecosystem, focusing on 5G and RAN technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues in automated test cases to prevent fault slippages and improve test coverage.
  • Lead the definition and implementation of integration steps and configure labs to support seamless solution delivery.
  • Expand traffic test coverage by contributing to Ericsson's test engine through feature analysis, code review, documentation, lab readiness, and timely handover to testing loops.
  • Define, integrate, verify, and release new lab builds that align with Ericsson's test strategies.
  • Ensure the robustness of 5G mobile networks through continuous automated testing of 5G features.
  • Work with world-class tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, TGF, and Moshell.
  • Enhance test automation and streamline processes for improved efficiency.
  • Gain exposure to a wide spectrum of 5G features, including Carrier Aggregation (CA), Ericsson Spread Spectrum (ESS), mobility (handover), Massive MIMO, and beamforming.

The skills you bring:

  • Masters in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains (applications, network, hardware).
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in test automation, CI/CD, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of RAN and experience in testing systems
  • Experience in JAVA programming.
  • Experience with NETCONF , Shell scripting, git, Jenkins, gerrit & Jira
