By-law & Regulatory Enforcement is responsible for the enforcement of a multitude of municipal by-laws and provincial legislation and other enforcement related services on a city-wide basis to address issues of safety, nuisance and consumer protection for the residents.
You are responsible for enforcing the city's council-approved regulatory by-laws and several provincial statutes in order to protect the health and safety of the general public and consumers and to reduce or eliminate nuisances. You respond to complaints from the public and perform proactive inspections of municipally licensed establishments and vehicles.
Completion of 2 year community college diploma in a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in law enforcement and 1 year in a client service environment dealing directly with the public
