About the role

  • Manage development of labour and material cost estimates of manufacturing based on Request For Proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers
  • Direct the analyses of specifications and calculation of production and material costs
  • Oversee the creation of cost models for cost estimating elements within manufacturing
  • Manages the preparation of cost reports
  • Manage the planning, preparation, issuance, and control of production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
  • Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
  • Responsible for preparing estimates to account for costs of execution including Production resource hours, procurement of hardware and delivery of Finished Goods.

What you bring to the role

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college or university with 8-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience managing staff.

  • Costing experience
  • Microsoft Excel Advanced skills
  • SAP skills
  • Program management experience
